Sustainable Freedom with Boudoir Photography Podcast

We're back, better than ever!

How do I get more clients in my photography business? When should I raise my prices? Can I make enough money with photography to support my family? What are the best ways to advertise my photography business? Which business model is best for my photography business? And the most asked question of all, can I really charge more, work less, and enjoy photography on a deeper creative level? Whether you’re a newbie photographer, it’s your side hustle, or you’re a seasoned pro, this show was made for you.

The Sustainable Freedom with Photography Podcast helps photographers get out of their ruts, sticking points, and holdups, because too many have traded in their 9-to-5 jobs for 24-7 hustles. We’ll shake off those feelings of uncertainty and self-doubt to uncover the business you’ve been dreaming about—and give it the TLC it needs to thrive, without you working (or wandering) in overdrive.

Host Tracy Lynn brings you marketing and business strategies, productivity tips, inspirational stories, and hard truths, but she does it with kindness, compassion, and empathy—earning the trust of photographers all over the world. She also shares actionable advice she used to build her seven figure boudoir photography studio in Saint Louis, MO working just 30 hours a month.

Along with sharing this wealth of knowledge, she also interviews women creatives in the industry who support photographers, as well as past clients, and other photographers who’ve achieved some of their biggest goals.

Marissa had built what seemed like a successful photography business—but what she didn’t have was a sustainable business. Her success relied on things like paid Facebook ads, constant availability, and working a 9-5 in addition to running her own business.
In today's interview, we're going to talk about the transformation in her photography business since we started working together and the steps she's taken to implement this marketing strategy.
Plus the big thing I wanted to touch on was how she's totally changed the way she runs her business – how she's stepping away and spending more time on her health in a very important way. She's also spending more time with her husband growing their life together.
Her sales averages have increased, the type of clients she's attracting have improved, but the biggest thing that's shifted is her priorities.
On July 10, 2022, Marissa lost her battle with cancer. I added a small blurb at the beginning explaining the situation. I want EVERYONE to understand that Marissa Kaubish was one of the best people to walk this Earth and those who knew her should consider themselves lucky.
Marissa, I love ya girl.

I’m not a person who carried around a camera my whole life, but a camera changed my life for the better. My degree is in dental hygiene, and while my career taught me a lot, it was never going to give me the freedom I so badly wanted.
In this episode, I want to give you a little background about how I started my boudoir studio and transitioned to a photography business coach. I’m also giving you an overview of my TLC Sustainable Freedom Formula, which you can easily use in your business.
And if you stay until the end, I’m also giving you one more strategy.  This is the same strategy I used that booked seven photography sessions in just three days!

How do I get more clients in my photography business? When should I raise my prices? Can I actually make enough money with photography to support my family? What are the best ways to advertise my photography business? Which business model is best for my photography business? And the most asked question of all, can I really charge more, work less, and enjoy photography on a deeper creative level?
I’m bringing you marketing and business strategies, productivity tips, inspirational stories, and hard truths, but I’m doing it with kindness because that’s just who I am.
I’m sharing actionable advice I used to build my seven figure boudoir photography studio in Saint Louis, MO working just 30 hours a month. These are the exact strategies that are currently helping my coaching clients go from $300 sales to regular 3000, 4000, even 8000 dollar sales.
I’m also interviewing women creatives in the industry who support photographers.  I'm also interviewing past clients, and other photographers.  These photographers have achieved some of their biggest goals, and most didn’t think it was at all possible.
Whether you’re a newbie photographer, it’s your side hustle, or you’re a seasoned pro, this show was made for you.
Welcome to the Sustainable freedom with Photography podcast, where we chat about all things photography, business, pricing, and marketing alongside supportive women in and out of the industry.
